Creating Meaningful Farewells

During a time of loss, a funeral ceremony offers a space for family and friends to come together, remember a loved one, and celebrate their life. As a funeral celebrant, I’m here to guide you through creating a personalized ceremony that reflects the unique spirit of the person you’ve lost.

What I Offer:

  • Compassionate Support: I offer a calming presence during this difficult time.
  • Personalised Ceremonies: I work closely with families to create a service that honors the deceased’s life, values, and beliefs.
  • Meaningful Tributes: We can incorporate readings, poems, music, and memories shared by loved ones.
  • Guidance and Assistance: I help with the logistics of the ceremony, including readings, music selection, and venue arrangements if required.

Please don’t hesitate to contact me. I understand that this is a difficult time, and I’m here to help you create a meaningful farewell for your loved one.

Maree was the celebrant at my husband Gavin’s funeral, and I can’t speak highly enough of the beautiful service she conducted. Maree put a lot of effort into hearing the stories from family and friends about Gavin and then bringing it all together at his service. The service she conducted while sad included funny moments and memories about Gavin and celebrated his life. It was a true credit to her skills as a celebrant.

Maree conducted a beautiful service for our mother in February 2024. As she knew mum well, she was able to make suggestions to help guide us through the planning of the service during this difficult time. Maree’s calm, patient and empathetic approach just made it so much easier. We highly recommend her as she is experienced, very genuine and compassionate and strives to make the service or event just right for your family.

Maree acted as celebrant for my husband’s memorial service. She had an excellent feel for offering information without being intrusive and was able to come up with simple solutions for immediate problems. We were a bit like rabbits in the headlights, but Maree was able to walk us through the process and on the day made the service run without a hitch. She was at all times constructive with ideas without taking over.  It was our service, our way, but made trouble free by her input, professionalism and time keeping.  Her “stamp” on the service was that it was still our service, but made to run smoothly.
